Website Accessibility Statement
This statement was prepared on 22 July 2026. It was last reviewed on 22 July 2026.
At Sanctuary LumaLiving, we are committed to reducing barriers for anyone with disabilities by making our digital services more accessible, inclusive and easy to use.
This accessibility statement applies to the domain https://sanctuary-lumaliving.co.uk.
Below you can find information on our compliance with Web Content Accessibility Guidelines and Standards, what we’re doing to improve accessibility and what we’ve done so far. If you experience any accessibility issues that have not been listed in this statement, we ask that you Contact us with feedback about your experience.
As of 22 July 2026, our website is partially compliant with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 Standards. We understand that some parts of our website are still not fully accessible.
Our website has been built to display properly in current browsers and future browsers, and should display as intended no matter which browser or operating system users opt for.
We want as many people as possible to be able to use our websites. For example, that means you should be able to:
- change colours, contrast levels and fonts
- zoom in up to 400% without text spilling off the screen, content being truncated or text overlapping
- navigate through most of the website using just a keyboard
- navigate most of the website using speech recognition software
- listen to most of the website using a screen reader (including the most recent versions of JAWS, NVDA, and VoiceOver)
We monitor and assess the accessibility of our websites on a weekly basis, using leading accessibility solution Silktide. We keep up to date with any accessibility issues flagged and work to fix them as soon as possible, tracking against their scoring and benchmarking system.
Our website is regularly being updated and improved. We have built our website taking best practice web accessibility guidelines into account, as well as feedback from website visitors.
We also work alongside our digital web partners to resolve any issues.
We are aware that some parts of our website are not fully accessible. You can see a list of any issues we currently know about below.
If you find that any of our content is not accessible and wish to request an alternative format, please Contact us and we’ll aim to respond as soon as possible.
Non-compliance with accessibility regulations
- PDFs and other non-HTML documents – Some documents may not meet accessibility standards. To improve access for all users, where appropriate, we intend to utilise web pages over PDFs.
- Third-party content – Tools like the Google Language Translator are elements that we have no control over, however we will do our best to ensure this doesn’t not have any accessibility impact to users.
- Forms – We’re aware that there may be issues on our online forms which may cause problems for some users.
Identified issues
In addition to the issues above, further issues were identified on this website following an accessibility review in July 2026.
- WCAG 2.0 A 3.3.2 – Instructions are not provided for appropriate form fields.
- WCAG 2.0 AAA 3.1.5 – Some content may be too difficult to understand.
- WCAG 2.1 AA 1.3.5 – The purpose of form fields is not identified programmatically.
As a result of this, we are aware that some areas of our website may cause difficulties for customers using assistive technology. As part of our ongoing commitment to digital accessibility, work is scheduled to resolve these problems within the next year.
We regularly scan our website and work alongside our digital partners to address new and outstanding accessibility issues, ensuring that improvements are implemented effectively. This helps us to maintain and continually improve our web accessibility.
We have made significant progress recently, including:
- WCAG 2.0 A 1.1.1 – All alternative text is appropriate.
- WCAG 2.0 A 1.4.1 – Links are distinguishable by more than just colour.
- WCAG 2.0 A 2.4.1 – Users can quickly skip to content.
- WCAG 2.2 A 3.2.6 – Help is presented consistently across the website.
- WCAG 2.2 AA 2.5.8 – Interactive components are far enough apart.
- WCAG 2.1 AA 1.4.10 – Pages do not scroll in two dimensions on small screens.
- WCAG 2.0 AAA 2.2.4 – Pages with interruptions can be postponed or suppressed by the user.
As well as further improvements that benefit the accessibility of our content and improve user experience across our website.
If you’re unable to access parts of our website or need information in a different format, please Contact us.
In your message, please include:

We have made the website as usable as we can, but you might have a better experience if you change the settings on your device to suit your individual needs.

Adaptations
Changing the colours
We’ve tried to use colours that make the words on our web pages easy to read, but understand that some users may have trouble with reading text on certain background colours. You may be able to change the colours in your browser.
Making the text bigger
You may be able to change the text size within your browser.
Skipping to the main content
If you are using a screen reader or keyboard to navigate, we have added a ‘Skip to main content’ link on every page. This allows you to skip the navigation and reach the page’s main content quicker.
Translating the website
If you would like to translate this website into another language, the Google Language Translator widget can translate pages into more than 60 languages.
Please note that we are not responsible for the content of Google Language Translator and cannot guarantee the reliability of the translations provided.
